Mental Health
  • The United States Preventive Services Task Force (USPSTF) for the first time recommended that all adults under age 65 be regularly screened for anxiety. The recommendation applies to adults aged 19 and older, including pregnant and postpartum people, who do not have a diagnosed mental health disorder or are not showing recognized signs or symptoms of anxiety. The USPSTF did not include adults ages 65 and up because there isn’t enough research in older adults to recommend for or against anxiety screening for that age group.
