- New reports have surfaced that the Department of Justice (DOJ) may sue to intervene in UnitedHealth’s $8 billion merger with Change Healthcare. UnitedHealth and Change Healthcare agreed to hold off on closing the deal until the timing agreement with the DOJ ends; that agreement ends next week. Sources familiar with the deal said that the two companies are preparing for a “last rites” meeting with DOJ. (Article here)
