  • A federal judge has temporarily forbidden a former Cigna executive from taking a position at CVS Health as part of an anti-poaching lawsuit. CVS Health hired Amy Bricker, then president of Cigna’s Express Scripts pharmacy benefit manager subsidiary, to be chief product officer for its consumer offerings last month. ButCigna alleges¬†that Bricker breached the terms of her non-compete agreement by accepting the position and violated the Missouri Uniform Trade Secrets Act, which is intended to protect companies from former employees divulging competitive information to rival companies.   • Humana announced it will be leaving the commercial health insurance market and will focus its efforts on government-sponsored products such as Medicare Advantage. The insurer will phase out its fully insured, self-funded, and Federal Employees Health Benefits Program plans, along with its wellness and rewards offerings, over the next 24 months, according to a news release. The insurer will continue to serve the Medicare Advantage, Medicare Part D, Medicare supplement, Medicaid, and TRICARE markets and retain its dental, vision, and life insurance products.
