  • California, Colorado, and New Mexico are moving ahead of federal guidance by expanding eligibility for COVID-19 booster shots to all adults. The policies are an attempt to mitigate a feared surge around the end-of-year holidays. Colorado and New Mexico have among the nation’s highest rates of new infections. The CDC placed California in the “high” tier for transmission.
