  • The Biden administration issued a press release stating it purchased 100 million rapid at-home COVID-19 tests with its “limited funding.” Earlier this week, U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) Secretary Xavier Becerra said that there is currently an insufficient supply of COVID-19 tests in the national stockpile to handle another potential “omicron-like event.” The administration plans to put all the tests into the Strategic National Stockpile to “help manage a potential increase in testing demand this fall and winter.” (Article here)
