  • Massachusetts Attorney General Maura Healey approved UnitedHealth Group Inc.’s plan to buy Atrius Health. The decision puts UnitedHealth’s bid to expand its Optum Health provider business by taking over one of the biggest independent physician groups in the Northeast within reach. UnitedHealth will pay $236 million to a charitable foundation as part of the attorney general’s signoff. The deal is pending final approval from a state court. (Article here)
