  • Walmart Inc. and UnitedHealth Group Inc. announced a 10-year partnership to deliver preventive care for adults 65 and over and virtual health care services to all age groups. The organizations plan to launch the seniors-focused initiative in January in 15 Walmart clinics in Georgia and Florida. Seniors on Medicare Advantage plans will be eligible for care under the partnership. Additionally, Walmart health staffers will be given access to Optum, the UnitedHealth-owned company that delivers data analytics on patients to providers. (Press release here)
