- The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) announced it awarded $19.8 million to AmerisourceBergen to expand the federal government’s monkeypox vaccine and treatment distribution. The contract will support the shipment of up to 2,500 shipments of frozen Jynneos vaccine vials and 2,500 “ambient temperature” shipments of the Tpoxx antiviral treatment weekly.
