  • The Institute for Medicaid Innovation released a survey showing that the majority of health plans that participated in Medicaid managed care offered plans that aimed to address health inequities over the past year. Ninety-five percent gave targeted services to members’ social needs that include housing support as well as food and nutrition services, 90 percent worked with community health centers, and 95 percent worked with community-based organizations to treat the social needs of members.
