  • Senate HELP Committee Chair Patty Murray and Ranking Member Richard Burr introduced a plan that would bolster FDA oversight of dietary supplements, cosmetics, and lab-developed tests. The proposal would require premarket approval of supplements, make manufacturers disclose what’s in their products, and address the agency’s oversight of lab-developed tests. The proposal is wrapped in a larger package that would renew FDA user fees. (Plan here)
