  • Teva Pharmaceuticals reached a tentative $4.25 billion settlement with states and localities over its role in the opioid addiction crisis. The deal requires Teva to make payments to approximately 2,500 local governments, states, and tribes over the course of 13 years. States and communities have an option to accept overdose reversal drugs as payments instead of cash. , The deal won’t be be finalized until a strong majority of those entities vote in favor of it.
