  • The House Rules Committee advanced legislation that would extend major flexibilities for telehealth reimbursement through 2024. The Advancing Telehealth Beyond COVID-19 Act would ensure waivers to telehealth regulations for originating site and geographic requirements can continue after the COVID-19 Public Health Emergency ends. During the hearing, Representative Frank Pallone, chairman of the House Energy and Commerce Committee, noted that a report examining the impact of telehealth on care quality and program integrity will be released next year.
