- The Biden administration withdrew its employer vaccine-or-test mandate after the Supreme Court blocked the requirement from being enforced, ruling that it was a federal overreach. The motion asked to have the existing lawsuits that were filed against the employer vaccine mandate dismissed. The Occupational Safety and Health Administration said it still strongly encourages workers to get vaccinated and would continue to pursue the private-sector mandate via the regular rule-making process.
