  • Senate Finance Committee Chairman Ron Wyden announced the committee is working on a comprehensive bipartisan legislative package tackling mental health. The legislation, which Wyden hopes to have ready by the summer, was originally introduced last June to help states enforce federal mental health parity laws. Several groups of senators are examining five particular issues, including furthering the use of telehealth and ensuring parity between mental and behavioral health.
