- Hawaii Governor David Ige outlined how the state plans to spend the $78 million it’s receiving from a multistate opioid settlement with pharmaceutical industry companies. Ige said state and Hawaii’s counties have agreed to spend the funds on treatment, prevention, and education. Officials will first conduct a statewide assessment of needs. (Article here)
