  • The Biden administration plans to announce today $43 billion in grants to rural health care providers in 22 states to improve access to health care. The grants are the first stage of allocations from $475 million set aside for rural health care organizations through the American Rescue Plan Act. Grantees will use the money in a variety of ways, including to buy emergency care gear, replace revenue lost during the pandemic, and upgrade emergency rooms. (Article here)
