- CommonSpirit Health finalized its acquisition of Steward Health Care’s Utah locations, the health systems said Monday. The deal,announced earlier this year, includes more than 35 clinics, imaging and urgent care centers, and five hospitals. Chicago-based CommonSpirit, which operates 145 hospitals and more than 2,200 care sites across 23 states, said it is changing the facilities to the Holy Cross brand, a nod to the nonprofit system’s Catholic background.
