  • Johnson & Johnson (J&J) said it will end its COVID-19 vaccine manufacturing deal with Emergent BioSolutions Inc. Both companies have accused the other of breaching their contract, with Emergent saying the drugmaker doesn’t plan to buy the minimum number of doses laid out in the agreement and J&J saying those claims are “false and misleading.” The fallout came a year after contamination at an Emergent plant ruined an estimated 400 million vaccines from J&J and AstraZeneca PLC.
