  • The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) recommended Saturday that children as young as 6 months old receive COVID-19 vaccines developed by Pfizer-BioNTech and Moderna. The move follows unanimous votes earlier from the CDC’s Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices and the Food and Drug Administration (FDA). The vaccines will be available starting today.
