- An amendment to the Senate’s latest FDA user fee proposal calls on infant formula manufacturers to notify the agency within five business days of a disruption to their supply chain, an attempt to better guard against future formula shortages. The amendment stipulates that the Government Accountability Office would deliver a report on how the FDA’s Division of Executive Operations handles complaints and other communications it receives from outside the agency.
