  • The global vaccine-sharing program Covax has now delivered 1 billion doses to 144 lower-income countries. The World Health Organization noted that 88 of its 194 member countries had vaccinated less than 40 percent of their populations. The organizations cited challenges like vaccine “hoarding/stockpiling” by wealthier countries, supply chain issues, and suboptimal manufacturing capacity. (Article here)
