He discussed three key principles that behavioral health care providers should consider to support patients in a value-based care model: 1) A wide variety of providers should deliver SUD care and help connect patients with other health services, 2) track folks to ensure they are getting to the right people at the right time and have recovery support available 24/7, and 3) utilize technology to fill gaps in care between in-person visits.
