- Cigna announced it will expand its Affordable Care Act market presence to three new states and dozens of new counties next year. Health plans will be available on the individual exchanges in Texas, Indiana, and South Carolina, in addition to 50 new counties in the existing markets of Georgia, Mississippi, and North Carolina in 2023. Cigna is expanding into geographic areas where it has strong provider partnerships, with most anchor providers in value-based arrangements. (Press release here)
