  • Walmart Health announced it will open 16 additional health centers in Florida over the next year. The locations are focused in the Jacksonville, Orlando, and Tampa markets and are set to open by the fall of 2023. The health clinics are located next to Walmart’s retail stores and provide a range of services including primary care, labs, X-rays, dental care, behavioral health care, hearing care, select specialty care, and community health services. According to the retailer, wait times at the Florida health centers are about half of the national average and almost all patients (96 percent) who have visited the clinics said they felt cared for during their appointments.
