  • The U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) has invested $110 million toward health care facilities in rural areas. The American Rescue Plan Act funding will help 208 rural facilities provide services to 5 million people across 43 states. The grants will go toward renovating, building, and equipping facilities, in addition to supporting telehealth, nutrition programs, staffing for COVID-19 testing and vaccines, regional partnerships, and tribal rural health care issues.
