  • The U.S. Supreme Court unanimously sided with the American Hospital Association in a clash over drug reimbursement rates for facilities that serve low-income communities. The justices noted that the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) did not survey hospital costs before adjusting payments for 340B in a 2018 rule and therefore improperly cut more than $1 billion a year in Medicare reimbursements to hospitals.
