  • Senate Finance Chairman Ron Wyden outlined several additional prescription drug reforms that he wants Democrats to tackle after the reconciliation bill. Wyden said that plans to allow Medicare to negotiate drug prices and to fine drugmakers that hike prices at a faster pace than inflation “is a strong start.” However, the chamber also needs to examine changing how pharmacy benefit managers operate and lowering insulin costs for certain consumers.
