- The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) released guidance clarifying that pharmacies that receive federal funding must fill reproductive health prescriptions. Pharmacies who deny access risk violating Affordable Care Act (ACA) anti-discrimination provisions. The department will evaluate on a case-by-case basis whether state and federal laws are in conflict.
