  • New Jersey Attorney General Matthew Platkin announced the state will join a national settlement with several pharmacy chains and drug makers for their roles in the opioid epidemic. The state has signed five agreements with CVS, Walgreens, Walmart, Teva Pharmaceuticals, and Allergan. New Jersey could receive a total of $508 million, if all five agreements are finalized.
