  • White House officials said they’ve shipped 50 million free at-home COVID-19 tests to U.S. households, representing about 85 percent of initial orders, with the rest of the tests to be sent in the coming days. They also said they are working on a plan to distribute high-quality masks for children and are seeking guidance from the testing industry on supply chain and manufacturing issues so that they can craft a long-term testing strategy, with the goal of ramping up U.S. production and capacity.
