  • UnitedHealth Group Inc. saw more than 14 percent revenue growth and higher-than-expected profit in the first quarter. The company’s s insurance arm added 350,000 members, largely driven by Medicare Advantage and other government plans. Revenue for its Optum health-services business rose to $43.26 billion. UnitedHealth Group now expects to see 600,000 new patients this year through its value-based care arrangements, up from its initial outlook of 500,000 new patients. (Article here)
