  • A new analysis from the Better Medicare Alliance found that the number of Medicare Advantage (MA) plans offering recently expanded supplemental benefits increased by 43 percent from 2021 to the 2022. Overall, MA plans that offered at least one of the five expanded benefits – health services, home-based palliative care, in-home support services, caregiver support, and therapeutic massages – increased from 575 in 2021 to 824 for 2022. According to the analysis, plans adopted in-home support services the most (544 plans) followed by therapeutic massage (160 plans). (Article here)
