- Abbott Nutrition announced on Saturday that it will resume producing infant formula at its Michigan facility. Abbott said in a statement that initial requirements of the consent agreement it reached with the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) last month had been met, allowing the baby formula manufacturer to restart its operations.
