Payers
  • The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) proposed a 2.7 percent boost to outpatient hospital payment rates for next year in addition to an enhanced payment for facilities that purchase N95 masks that are manufactured in the United States. CMS Administrator Chiquita Brooks-LaSure said the proposed rules, which also include modifications to payment policies for rural hospitals and the 340B drug pricing program, would “expand access to care options in rural communities and permanently allow behavioral health services to be provided to people in their homes.” (Fact sheet here; Articles here, here, and here)
