- A Kaiser Family Foundation (KFF) brief found that at least 14 states have ongoing litigation in which providers, clinics, and other groups are challenging state bans and restrictions. These challenges generally fall into three categories: broad constitutional, health care amendment, and religious freedom. Another raft of bills is emerging as state legislatures enter their 2023 sessions. Over the weekend, thousands gathered at rallies and marches to mark the 50th anniversary of Roe v.
