- The FDA Vaccines and Related Biological Products Advisory Committee will hold a key meeting on January 26 to discuss the state of the pandemic and whether COVID-19 vaccines need to be modified again to better limit the fast-changing virus. The FDA is looking to get input from the committee on how to better handle variants and sketch out a long-term strategy that goes beyond responding to new strains and shifting threats.
