- The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) announced that the Biden administration will provide $98.9 million in grant funding to Navigator organizations to help consumers select an Affordable Care Act (ACA) exchange plan. The investment is almost $19 million above the $80 million CMS provided for the 2022 coverage year and its largest investment to date. For the 2023 open enrollment, Navigators can use the funding to get additional staff and conduct more targeted outreach for high-need communities. (Press release here)
