  • A Reuters analysis found that the median yearly price of 13 novel medicines the Food and Drug Administration approved for chronic conditions in 2022 is $257,000. The price is higher than a recent JAMA study, which found that the median annual price for 30 drugs last year through mid-July was $180,000 median annual. Reuters noted that their analysis points to a continued trend of rising prices for new drugs and isn’t intended to be an exact replica of the JAMA study. (Article here)
