Mindy Klowden

Managing Director for Behavioral Health

Mindy Klowden, MNM is a national consultant, leader, and strategist in behavioral health and integrated care. As the managing director for behavioral health, she provides overall stewardship over THS’ behavioral health and community health consulting practice areas and strategy. Mindy also manages client relationships and deliverables, conducts research and policy analysis, and provides strategic consulting and expert facilitation services to state and local government agencies, health systems, safety net providers, payers, and associations.

Mindy has more than 25 years of experience in behavioral health and health care policy. Previously, Mindy held leadership positions with Colorado Behavioral Healthcare Council, National Council for Behavioral Health, and Jefferson Center for Mental Health. She was also the Chair of the Practice Transformation Committee and served on the Steering Committee for the Colorado State Innovation Model.

Mindy earned a master’s degree in Nonprofit Management from Regis University and a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from The Colorado College.

A few fun facts about Mindy…

Mindy was in the movie Sixteen Candles. Her favorite hobbies are skiing in the winter and hiking the rest of the year. She loves to travel and got engaged on top of Mt. Kilimanjaro.
