Meghan Phillipp

Vice President of Community Impact

Meghan is the Vice President of Community Impact at Third Horizon Strategies. Meghan is also the inaugural executive director of the Health Care Council of Chicago (HC3), an action-oriented collaborative that brings together leaders from across the health care system to address Chicago’s most important health-related issues.

Meghan has over 10 years of experience in development, marketing, community engagement, corporate social responsibility, and philanthropy. Throughout her career she has worked in start-ups and nonprofits, developing programming and events, building sustainable relationships, and cultivating new and innovative ideas. Prior to joining Third Horizon Strategies, Meghan was the corporate relations and special events manager at CommunityHealth, the nation’s largest free health clinic serving the uninsured in Chicago. She currently serves as an associate board member for the organization.

Meghan holds a bachelor’s degree in music and minor in theatre arts from Lawrence University and a Baumhart Scholar MBA from Loyola University of Chicago’s Quinlan School of Business. She has also earned a certificate in digital marketing from General Assembly.

A few fun facts about Meghan…

Meghan’s favorite podcast is How I Built This. Her first job was working at the concession stand and front desk at the local pool. Meghan also sings in a band (The Red Birds) and writes for a travel blog (Spotted by Locals) about things to do in Chicago!
