- The Joint Commission launched a new patient safety campaign that aims to educate patients on how to best navigate virtual health care services. The campaign is part of The Joint Commission’s Speak Up program, which encourages patients to be active members in their care. Recognizing that telehealth has “room for human error and miscommunication,” the campaign will help patients become more aware of the benefits and risks and voice any concerns. (Press release here)
