  • Third Horizon Strategies Senior Director Sara Howe participated in a Health News Illinois panel that examined the future of mental health access and care. Panelists discussed what the state of Illinois can do to address a “chronically underfunded” mental health industry and how will advancements in technology change the way patients interact with their provider. Sara agreed with other panelists that the state needs to provide additional assistance for children, but also called attention the need to consider older adults. “Medicare doesn’t cover parity at all,” she said. “If you want to talk about kids, if you want to talk about older adults, those are two things we need to do.” (Article here)
