- The Senate Finance Committee released a discussion draft outlining what telehealth flexibilities should be made permanent for mental health services. The legislation includes polices to codify audio-only mental health coverage, remove Medicare’s in-person visit requirement, create a “Bill of Rights” for telehealth mental services, and mandate that the federal government collect data on telehealth trends and care quality and issue reports to update lawmakers.
