- The GOP-led Senate in Florida passed a bill to ban abortions after 15 weeks and sent the legislation to the desk of Governor Ron DeSantis. A bill mirroring Texas’ six-week abortion ban also advanced through the Idaho state Senate and appears poised to pass the House; if it became law, Idaho would be the second state with a six-week abortion ban.
