- The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) issued warning letters to AZ Swagg Sauce LLC and Electric Smoke Vapor House for not submitting a premarket application for is synthetic nicotine vaping products. The agency said the move, along with the other 107 warning letters it has issued to retailers in the past two weeks for illegally selling nontobacco nicotine products, demonstrates its commitment to implement a new law regulating non-tobacco nicotine products. But advocates disagree and say that the FDA is taking minimal action and that all unauthorized synthetic nicotine products must be removed from the market now. (Article here)
