- Senator Joe Manchin informed Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer that he would not support any additional money for climate spending or any attempts to raise corporate taxes. Manchin is in favor of a package that will lower prescription drug prices and extend subsidies to purchase health insurance on the ACA exchanges.
