- The National Institutes of Health (NIH) launched “Home Test to Treat” – a pilot program that will allow people to receive free testing, consultation, and treatment for COVID-19 from their homes. The agency said it is aiming to offer this service to up to 100,000 people in the U.S. over the next year. eMed will provide the telehealth services for the pilot program and host the Home Test to Treat program website. Researchers at the UMass Chan Medical School will analyze the data collected from the pilot to determine the program’s impact. (Press release here; Article here)
