- The CMS issued a request for information to collect feedback on ways to improve access and equity in Medicaid and Children’s Health Insurance Program (CHIP). The agency said the feedback will be used to shape future Medicaid and CHIP policy, monitoring, and regulations, including alternative payment models and value-based care efforts. Some examples of the type of feedback the CMS would like to collect include ways to enroll people in coverage and help them maintain that coverage, how to address provider reimbursement to improve access to quality clinicians.
