  • A coalition of physician groups led by the American Medical Association asked a Texas judge not to implement a nationwide injunction on a key portion of the Affordable Care Act (ACA) that covers preventive services. In September, the judge ruled that the legislation’s process for choosing which services insurers must fully cover was unconstitutional. The group urged the judge to only restrain the provision’s enforcement against a single employer challenging the mandate. (Article here)
