  • AstraZeneca announced it has invested roughly $33 million in Huma, a U.K.-based medical technology start-up, as part of a broader commercial partnership between the two firms. The move will enable Huma, which develops remote patient monitoring systems, to expand further in the U.S. As part of the deal, Huma will also acquire AMAZE, a disease management platform developed by AstraZeneca for asthma and heart failure patients.
